Etching Print Making | The Ying Ge Dance Performance

The "Ying Ge Dance Performance" series celebrates a traditional Chinese cultural practice, set against the evocative backdrop of an ancient village in China. These etching art prints are created using a zinc plate, acid, and ink on Somerset paper. The prints are available in two versions: a black ink print and a purple-to-orange colour gradient.

A second etching in the series employs two plates to depict both an old village and London Chinatown. This represents the rich cultural exchange that spans the globe, and is a second example of our exploration of this theme.
